Overview
After upgrade of DIS server to newer version, face templates generate in lower versions are not compatibile with new ones.
Symptoms
Face matching is not working when using templates generated in different dis server versions.
Environment
DIS server
Root Cause
Face templates are not backward compatible.
Resolution
If you need to perform face matching at a later stage, it is recommended that you also store face images in a database.
Then, after upgrading to a newer version of DIS with different templates version, these images can be used to generate new templates.
